I just beat an opponent who was just a few ratings point above me. When i equalized the mini match he called me a lucky nob and left. Boy oh boy how many sour losers are there in the world. I dont mind getting beaten. Guys play the games if you think me luckies.

If I win, there is nothing they can say that'll upset me.  If anything, their rudeness only makes the victory sweeter.

Yes, if players who won were better able to control their emotions, then the public forum woudln't have posts like these where the winner has to blow steam off.

Better luck with your emotions next time konhidras.

if it's blitz or bullet, you should expect such things to occur. and in fact it's kind of lame to publicize such reactions in a way given the context. it's kind of like two people playing a video game and one of them getting annoyed and yelling something. not all that shocking and shouldn't really reflect so harshly on the persons character in my opinion. if he had stated such to you after an OTB tournament game, then it would be rudeness, soreness, etc and you would be well justified. but it's not. it's internet blitz.

just disable chat. it's what sane people do when they are playing internet blitz and bullet against random people who they don't know.

Good idea. Now how do i disable chat? Is ther an icon i can click to?

I've always found it strange how people who are "sore losers" end up playing chess. I mean, you'll be doing a lot of losing in chess, so how is it even enjoyable if you hate that part?

The irony here is that 90% of the problems I experience with bad sportsmanship comes from (other countries). (disconnecting, letting the clock run, bad temper after losing).
What is it with these countries, is it something in the culture?

To the moderator... please dont edit my posts. If you must .. then remove them, but dont edit/censor it.

Has political correctness gone this far, where we cant even state our own experience and it everything has to be censored?

Turn on the news, people are doing all sorts of terrible things to eath other and this is aired publicly as "entertainment" on the 6 oclock news. I make a post about 2 countries that are far more bad sports than other countries and it gets censored?
