The 50 move rule must be abolished!!!

Don't you just love it when petulant people present their asinine personal ideas as something that MUST be done?

The point to the move is that if no pawn was pushed or piece exchanged in 50 moves the position haven't changed significally and no side has found chances for a win. Some 30 years ago there were exeptions from this rule - certain endings could be played up to 100 moves instead of 50.
If we abolish the rule you might find yourself playing gead draw endgame, and your opponent refusing a draw because nobody can make him take a draw if he doesn't want, then winning on tome after you have fell asleep.

@OP: I make a point to be as polite as possible to all members on this site, regardless of how offensive they may or may not be (to me or to others). I hope you will bear that in mind as you read my criticism of your viewpoint.
You have completed a grand total of 14 games (Online/Live combined) on this site. You give no indication of how many years' chess experience you have. You presented a poorly organized, poorly-thought-out argument of why the fifty-move rule should be abolished. In light of all this, what makes you think that you are qualified to call for a change in the rules of chess?

The topic being what else we can abolish because we don't understand the purpose of it?
Tonsils for sure, possibly also the # and * buttons on the telephone.
Certain positions require more than 50 moves with perfect play to convert to a winning position. Such as a minor piece and a rook vs a pair of minor pieces. I have looked into it with a table base. However much more often than not if you have not made any progress in 50 moves you never will so the rule seems fair enough.

who should feel bad, velocity, and why ?
The OP for trolling, and everyone else for trolling

Ah, but not everyone else has trolled.
...Trolled? Is that a word?
I guess it's a word. If "trolling" is a word, then "trolled" must be too.

Thank you, thank you very much, Thank you very very much.
would you like a hug too ?
(just find your sweetie for that - you wouldn't want to hug an ugly old geezer.)
Im a 48 year old male. Im way past that phase of my life where youre concerned about what others will think when hugging another man. My karate teacher and I still hug, and i hugged a friend from highschool last weekend.
So bring it!
Give each other a good smack while you're at it.
