I've used Fritz a great deal and yes I think the analysis on here even for diamond members is pretty crappy.
My personal favorite is the GUI you get with Rybka. It's called aquarium, I've found it very helpful when analysing my games. Not only will it tell you when you made a good or bad move, but it will tell you which moves were alternatives and how much better they were. It does this by playing tons of fast games from the positions (I think).

Can't remember the name properly as it was about 18 months ago, but it had a cup of coffee as it's logo.
A quick Google search (seriously, it took less than a third of a second to get the results) shows that only ICCF is FIDE-sanctioned. And ICCF does not have a cup of coffee as their logo.

No, Instant Chess still exists. But I'm pretty sure that it has never been FIDE-sanctioned, which would be the only way you could show it as a FIDE rating.
Rich, tell you what. Since the FIDE website has a searchable database of its members, what say you give us your real name and we'll search the database to see if you really have a FIDE rating. If, as I'm believe it will, this tests proves you have been lying, you remove the fake FIDE rating from your profile and apologize for lying about it. If your story bears out, those of us who have accused you of misrepresenting the truth will apologize for suggesting you were lying. Sound fair to you?
