The difference between an International Master, a 1700 rated player and a 1200 player

It's white to play. Material is even, but white is about to win a pawn.

A 1200 rated player would blunder and play Qxa7 here, falsely believing that it wins a pawn.

A 1700 rated player would play Rxc6 and be pretty thrilled about winning a pawn uncontested.

But an International Master would see a powerful move that the 1700 rated player completely misses... can you see it?

Credit goes to IM John Bartholomew for finding this move in a 3 minute blitz game.

The fact that he can do it in a Blitz game is what is impressive! I like JB.
