Some grandmasters have the uncanny ability of seeing positions very quickly. I read one time how Emanuel Lasker was flabergasted at how quickly Capablanca could see a move as though it took no effort. Bobby Fischer was also very good at "sight of board" positions. There are others but those two stand out.

Ok, but it doesn't have anything to do with my post.
Has never won a single world blitz championship. But he's the greatest blitz player ever because he's the only one who plays on chess.com all the time and has a 3000+ online rating.
