I've heard the phrase "long-think, wrong-think"
I've taken it to refer to when a player becomes confused, they may try to calculate their way to clarity. Then due to the general confusion (or errors in calculation from exhaustion) the player immediately blunders.
In an OTB tournament game, I once had an opponent sit and think for an hour and ten minutes... then he resigned.
Granted... his resignation was not a blunder. It might have been his most accurate response.
