Conspiracy Theory: Mittens is actually the El Gato meme but it escaped from memeworld and got trapped here on chess.com and was disguised as an illustrated bot under the fake name “Mittens” it’s been trying to escape by gaining popularity as that gives all memes their power, to do this it has weird dialogue and an odd ELO that doesn’t match their skill level this causes people to have more interest thus it gains power and now that it has destroyed m3gan and freed the other cats it’s more popular/powerful  than ever
