The "show legal moves" option is suddenly enabled for me.

Yesterday, when I came in to play a few rounds, I found that the option to show legal moves for a piece was suddenly on. It was already on by default on mobile, but not on the PC. I know for a fact that I did not turn it on, as I almost never go to settings.
I'm not complaining. I'm just confused. Did something like this happen to anyone else?
