I think he means that there is a sound after you play a move. Yes, you can turn that of by going to the tab "Home" and "Settings"
I play on my mobile after I move I have to press the tick symbol to move the piece - confirming I want that piece moved there's also a x to move the piece back

That is also in settings under Move Preferences > Confirmation. Be sure to save after making changes.
