Hi!
We can read in several websites about different rating comparisons: FIDE vs online chess, FIDE vs USCF, lichess.org vs chess.com... etc.
All comparison have always been human pool vs human pool: It has always been a mess. Not enough people providing data, inconclusive results, correlation graphs that don't seem to correlate much...
etc.
But i've never seen anything like human vs engines rating comparison!
Therefore, i've had the idea of using engines as a measure stick. Why? because their rating is the most stable, machines always play at the same strength (give or take 100 points difference in extreme cases).
So, would you like to post here what's your rating when playing vs engines?
It could be any engine: chess.com bots, Chessmaster 11, Shredder or other engines... of course, winning regularly that engine at that level, and not using external help.
Take into account that different versions of the same engine have different strengths. So, to avoid mistakes, you can copy-paste the next form:
Name of engine:
Maximum rating at which you win that engine:
Version of engine:
My rating FIDE / USCF / lichess / chess.com /etc. :
Time controls:
Platform:
--------------------------------
Example 1:
Name of engine: Pablo (chess.com bot)
Maximum rating at which you win that engine: 1600 (because that's the rating of that bot).
Version of engine: not applicable.
My rating FIDE / USCF / lichess / chess.com /etc. : 1300 lichess and 1500 FIDE
Time controls: 20 minutes per game.
Platform: Android. Samsung Galaxy S60.
--------------------------------
Example 2:
Name of engine: Shredder
Maximum rating at which you win that engine: 1450
Version of engine: Deep Shredder 13
My rating FIDE / USCF / lichess / chess.com /etc. : 1400 FIDE, 1200 Norwegian Chess Federation
Time controls: 5 minutes per game.
Platform: desktop PC. AMD Athlon 64. 2.8 GHz. 8 GB RAM.
--------------------------------
Example 3:
Name of engine: Chessmaster 11 (not actually the engine)
Maximum rating at which you win that engine: Vanessa personality (2350 rating)
Version of engine: The king 3.5 (actually the engine)
My rating FIDE / USCF / lichess / chess.com /etc. : 2200 FIDE, 1900 lichess, 2300 FEDA
Time controls: 60 minutes per game.
Platform: Laptop. Intel i7. 2.4 GHz. 4 GB

You can also post comments, website links with other relevant ratings comparison... etc. anything that's helpful and not much off topic.
Thank you in advance
