Wow, I didn't think that anyone else knew about the backyard professor! I discovered him by accident. I am a full time chess instructor and coach as well as a chess writer (I write a weekly column for Grandmaster Nigel Davies website "The Chess Improver"). I was looking up some general chess videos on Youtube and came across a video by the backyard professor. The video may have been titled "Dang Blunder, Dealing with Chess Blunders." There was something different about his presentation. I do chess lecturers daily in a classroom setting so I am always interested in how people present chess games to an audience. I watched his video and became a fan. I enjoyed the video you posted. Thanks for sharing it with the chess.com community!

For all the hate the Backyard Professor gets you have to admit he's pretty good at filming...
I haven't seen any new material by the backyard chess professor. I need to know if he's still going in high gear towards becoming a master.

Watching his first "instructive" video now.
There were rumors he had died because he suddenly stopped but I think he still lives.
He's an interesting mix of arrogance and humbleness, ignorance and eagerness.
