theoretically Chess IS a draw

Try any piece behind a pawn in a symmetrical position in 7 men endgame tablebase. It is always a draw no matter queen or rook or minor piece you have tried with.

It may seem insufficient to pull out a conclusion but it is enough. After all, they have equal power in the beginning, if first move was enough to force mate, why does not it work in "king+queen+pawn (infront of quern) VS k+q+p" position? just try as you wish. white Pawn on D2 and black on D7, queen on D1 and D8 and the king is on E1 and E8. Even with whole pieces, they have equal power

I have even given 2 pawns to white vs 1 of black's. white to move. It is still daw as queen and king is in symmetrical position
