Am I overlooking the obvious? 18...gxNf3 loses material by giving up the exchange, takes away a key defender for the king, opens the g-file in front of the exposed king, AND hands that file to white, since the queen can't contest it against the connected rooks.
It effectively puts black down five points in material, since his light square bishop is entombed and useless.
This isn't an inaccuracy, this is an out and out material and positional blunder, isn't it? Does Kxg7 lose somehow?
