Three simple questions...

Hello, my name is Dennis and as the name of this topic states, I've got three questions. I'll get right down to it!

First question: How do I know, when playing Live Chess, that my opponent CAN (not will) chat?

Second: When playing Live Chess, there's an icon that looks like a bishop near the chat of the current game - when I click it, it says "You must be friends to chat". However, that icon is always there, even if my opponent is already talking to me. What does that mean?

And my third and last question: Why are there TWO chat windows (one of the current game at the top, and one below that where you can choose between different chat "rooms"?)

If anyone could answer these questions, thank you!

Q1: if you can't type into the game chat window, then your opponent has disabled chat. If you can, then he hasn't and can chat.

Q2: Live Chess has voice chat for Platinum and Diamond members, not just typed chat. To use that you must also be friends.

Q3: Some folk actually chat in the Main Hall (or another room) while they are playing a game and chatting in the game too. With two windows, one for each, they (and you) can do that.

I hope I've understood and answered your questions helpfully.

Best wishes.
