Timer isn’t accurate

Very very often, the timer for games ends the game when I still have 2 seconds on my clock. It drops in time by more than 0.1 seconds even when I’m premoving consecutively. It drops connection randomly. I have a 400 mbps download and upload speed on 3 different devices. Phone, tablet, laptop. It doesn’t matter. 40 ms ping average. Why. Just why.

What’s the solution? Please don’t give the generic response from other internet connection questions. I know the bars on my phone aren’t connection strength. I know ping varies I tested it on a continuous interval. I know chess.com servers have a lot of people. But it’s just unplayable with this kind of timer behavior.

Play longer games or make moves quicker earlier. Then you will have more time. It boggles me when people play bullet and blitz and complain about not having enough time. You aren't playing quality games. You might as well play the pinata game.

There are lot of different things that can impact the connection and potential lag. Other processes running on your system, other traffic on your local network, router issues that drop connections but introduce lag.
Could be something between you and the live servers as well.
