Add "opening principles" with some basic endgame study and maybe even a few chess puzzles in routine and you'll probably surpass 1000 chess.com rating with some time implementing these ideas for sure.
Sooo admittedly, I made horrible mistakes my first live game. No one to blame but myself. I lost horribly, and I know I should have seen things that I totally missed, and it's really discouraging. Any tips on how to not get discouraged by this? I really would like to get better at chess, any tips on taking a loss would help a lot! Any tips on getting better would help too
