Toxic players

Losing in chess is tough enough without someone adding a laughing emoji after your blunder or spamming “easy” in chat. For beginners, this stuff can be the breaking point, it pushes people away from the game entirely. Chess is already emotional. Toxic behavior just amplifies that frustration and takes the fun out of the game.
This ain’t Fortnite, respect your opponents.

I believe that failure makes you stronger, if you let it. And you can't avoid arrogant people in any area of life, they'll always be there, attempting to break you down and lift themselves up. Don't fold, show them you mean business, and fight harder next time. I believe that the only true failure comes when you fail to learn from failure...

Toxic players can discourage new enthusiasts from sticking with the game. Instead of feeling inspired to improve, they may feel attacked or humiliated.
