Tribute to Daniel Naroditsky

I can't say I knew Daniel Naroditsky very well. I met him briefly once at the US Masters in 2023, but never got the chance to play him over-the-board. We played 14 games online, where I was lucky to win and draw once. 

I’ve looked up to Daniel since I started playing chess 11 years ago, so when I heard the news on Monday, I was devastated. I couldn’t sleep much and am still trying to wrap my head around this tragedy. One of the things Hikaru says is "let's go Danya style," referring to games full of crazy sacrifices or dynamic, exciting positions (or both). I dedicate the following blitz game to Danya.

Danya has a special place in my heart. I saw you play this game live, and I think you did him justice Isaac. We miss you Danya
