trouble with Arena

Hi guys,

i just downloaded Arena for Windows 8, and i have problems adjusting the appearance. I changed the squares, and first it worked, but then all of a sudden they turned white. the first picture is how the board looks like, and the second one is the appearance window.

How do i get rid of that annoying white board? Thanks for the support,

I don't know WHAT you've done there... It looks like you chose some jpeg files from your user folder. Why don't you switch back to the default graphics supplied by Arena? Or if you don't know how to do that, maybe reinstall the program?

Just in case anyone else comes across this problem, the solution is to go to the Pieces tab and switch the font setting under Piece Type from "Pieces from TrueType Fonts (hatched)" to "Pieces from TrueType Fonts (in color)"
