In my first blog https://www.chess.com/blog/ChessMusicGirl/underestimating-your-opponent-in-chess
I wrote about underestimating your opponent(please read it)
Now i am writing about Underestimating your oppponent's attacks. You might see two doubled up rooks on the h file but not worry about it because you have your own attack. Actually those to rooks can attack your castled king. They may be blocked by a bishop but when that bishop moves you are in BIG trouble because those doubled up rooks have a lot of power since they are placed in an open file. Lets take the example of a pinned pawn. If you know the opening "Sicilian Dragon" you will notice in one of that sometimes a pinned pawn can cause you to lose the game. NEVER underestimate a pin. It could cause a lot of trouble. Anyway in conclusion you should not underestimate any attack always think of what your opponent is trying to do before making your move.
