I got mine after two comps in one month (prob provisional or something, idk much about FIDE ratings tbh)...
For both I had a rating performance of over 1000 (one well over, the other not so much), and I think I just got the average of those two, don't rlly remember.
Anyways, if you manage a performance of over 1000 for all your comps, you can definitely get a rating. Even if it is really low.
Unrated FIDE and ratings

Hm okay...
But like, if I don't get a performance of over 1000 for the next few comps, will my rating be deeply affected?
Let's say, for one of them, I fail really badly (which is possible, as sometimes I do really well but other times I don't), will that lose my whole rating?
Also, since I only played 4 games on the first comp, do you think the game pooled in is one of my previous games or my later games...?
Okay, so I've signed up for like 4 rapid rated competitons for this month, and I'm super keen to get a rating. I think I can, depending on how it is calculated.
I've already completed one competition, in which I scored 1.5/4 against FIDE rated opponents with an average of 1195. Since I think 4 games is probably not enough, I believe, based on my knowledge, my recent games can be pooled in. My most recent game was against a 1015 rated opponent who I drew. Based on my calculations, I would get an end result of 1087 rating points.
However, I have a really really important question. Will my rating be affected by my future games for this month? I really want a FIDE rating (even if it's provisional lol, I just want it to not display 'unrated' xD). I'm wondering if my rating after this month would end up being the best of my 4 tournament's performances, or the average of all of it...
I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough. I'm more than happy to clarify anything I couldn't explain well in the above two paragraphs. Thanks in advance, and have a good day!
