I have a USCF CC game where I've ventured into some unfamiliar situations, and would like to do some research about common ideas in these positions. My question is, am I allowed to use these forums as a "book" resource? Forums seem questionable, becuase they are in a way both a dynamic and static resource. I'm thinking it's okay because I would be reading old threads and not asking for aide directly.
Also, are tablebases allowed, and if no do you think it is okay to use the tablebases to looks at certain endgames that could potentially be reached, but not necessarily?
Remember that I'm asking about USCF correspondence rules.
