How do you come off vacation? They should tell you that before they put you on it. Im stuck on vacation and cant move.

Hello all,
at the moment I play a 24 hours game against a member who obviously picked the wrong timetable for his moves. Yesterday he went for the third time 'on vacation' during this game. I always thought it was impossible to put a game in a vacation mode when it's your turn to move. Or am I wrong..?
