I use it religiously in daily games where my opponent takes seven days to move. In that amount of time, they'll often forget where I've moved my pieces and I can chain combos like the on posant special attack (google it). Its like an invisibility potion but for chess.

I think this is a feature meant for people like Magnus who crush everyone on chess.com, they need a bit more of a challenge

But, yeah, it's still a bit strange chess.com implemented this as a feature.

It shows the name, 'Blindfold'. In the corner preview as you can see above, it doesn't show the pieces... Only board. Maybe it's just a secret for fun, but actually useless. Maybe they mean a fun challenge where the players can't see the pieces... BLINDFOLD CHALLENGE!!!! It's just a secret, cuz many people wouldn't find it. Also not many people play chess in their computers, so they'll not see the name too!
