Was I right to agree a draw?

I was playing a blitz game against a much higher rated player, and lost two pawns with a backward pawn under fire, but amid my attempts to complicate things she used up a lot of time, and offered me a draw with 25s left, when I had 1.5m. I chickened out, but have the feeling I should have played on, hoping for a time win. How to make such an assessment quickly, and any advice on how to manage such I positions?

Second guesses can never be proven.   The variables are infinite.

Hmmm... perhaps if I was sitting across from the player watching them scrutinize over the board.  But as far as you know, she could have just been simple busy cleaning up the cottage cheese she spilled on her carpet and realized "oh yeah" I'm playing a game.  Twenty five secs. oh my -- "draw?"  Nah, I say trudge on.  Your friend, Ice

It hadn't occured to me, but domestic distractions are indeed a likely factor!
