What a disaster for Magnus

If his performance rating is below his actual rating, its a disappointment for Magnus.
In his defence, he had a sick day recently.
Carlsen has made a pathetic attempt to redeem himself a bit, having a performance rating of fifty points higher than everyone else, and winning the tournament by a full point, but has obviously failed.
But seriously, how good at chess must you be to lose rating points for placing clear first in such a strong tournament?
Elubas, he did not lose points, he went up 0.1 points! LOL

He lost rating 1.2 points from the Gashimov Memorial, but he won 1.3 points from a game in the Norwegian Teams Championship. So he is up 0.1.
Wow, two games lost in a row. Hardly a "disaster", given that he's winning the tournament.
For Magnus, winning a tournament is not necessarily enough to avoid a disaster 
His near 2900 rating is actually low compared to his actual playing strength.
Interesting to note: Anand's performance rating at the 2014 candidates was 2843 (or maybe it was 2834), lower than Magnus's performance rating in this tournament.
Hehe. Have you guys ever heard that the best anyone can do is defeat those he/she plays and win?
In the most recent disaster, Magnus has failed to win three games! How could someone be so bad at chess?
