I smashed it at the club. 1.d4,b6?! is black's way of saying, "I'm quite proficient in the Owen's Defense or Queen's Indian, take your pick". So I played 2.e4 and went on to win three pawns up in the pawn ending.
Yeah, Owen's Defense is garbage. Agreed.

Cute. Whenever I see Owen's Defense, I always play 3. Bd3 in the faint hope black will try 3. ...f5?. Also, Bd3 is the better move (vs Nc3 or Nd2). Nicely done.

Probably. I even saw a 1...Na6 thread there before (hint: 2.d4 is better than 2.Bxa6 because you seize the center instead of trading your best minor piece for an awkward rim knight. The doubled pawns aren't worth it even if they are a-pawns)

I love the forums posted by like 800 rated guys claiming their opponents are cheating with engines. Too funny :p.
Also the ones where a 900 is winning and accidentally stalemates his opponent, and then makes a forum post demanding that the stalemates rules be changed. Also funny!

Yeah that one reminded me of grade school... 1st grade to be more precise. I say if you're going to declare that "the last one is a rotten egg", you should have an actual rotten egg to throw at the head of the loser.
Can't risk being a rotten egg if you don't even post there ;)
