What board and piece themes affect your level of playing positively?

I have done a research, and for the board colors, green and blue is the best for longer rapid games like 15|10, because it helps to concentrate for a long time. Personally, dark blue is my favorite color so I'm going with that. But, what pieces to choose? Share your experiences here.
