Fischer had a deep distrust of people using him, so I think Hollywood's out. EVERYBODY gets used in Hollywood. (that's in responce to, "he should have been an actor)
What could have caused Fischer to Go Crazy?

Most people here don't know ANYTHING important about Fischer. If you don't , you can at least google.

Waarom zijn de Nederlanders altijd zo luid? Is he tomdat zij half Amerikaans zijn? Misschien omdat ze denken alles beter te weten.
What do you know about Fischer? Anything we don't?

He never knew his father. His mother,an angry German immigrant who felt that her children robbed her of the chance to have a decent life, abandoned him when he was 15. He had to compete in a sport that was rife with cheating, but it was the only way he could support himself. He had chronic money problems. He was predisposed to psychological problems; his biological father comitted suicide at a young age.
No dude, no.
While it is true that Bobby Fischer never knew the man listed on his birth certificate, he did, however, know the man who was his biological father. The physicist Paul Nemenyi made child support payments to Regina Fischer (who, by the way, was Swiss born but grew up in St. Louis, Missouri) and paid for Bobby's schooling, as well as made periodic visits to Bobby, until his own death. And he died at the age of 56 (not exactly young) of a heart attack, not suicide.
There's no indication that Regina Fischer ever held any kind of resentment towards ether Bobby or his sister Joan, and she appears to have lived a rather full life inspite of raising two children as a single mother. And yes, Regina did leave Bobby alone in their apartment, so she could relocate to Europe to further her education, but she hardly abandoned him. Bobby was 16 at the time, had already dropped out of school and was well established in his chess career by that point. Still, Regina made sure his needs were being met, that he had money, and the rent and bills for the apartment were paid. Even after Bobby was well into his adult years and had squandered all his chess earning Regina made sure he had money to live on by sending Bobby her Social Security checks. Bobby and his mother remain emotionally close their whole life despite sometimes not seeing each other for years.
Maybe next time learn a little bit about the subject instead of just repeating whatever sensationalist tabloid bullsh*t you might have heard.

Why would Fischer be "crazy"? Please do tell.
I hope you realize how dangerous it is to label as "crazy" anybody with controversial opinions. That's where freedom of speech goes to die.
not really crazy. but he was so addicted to chess and played soooooo much that it made him have a few problems.

Why doesn't the OP READ up on him; "Bobby Fischer Goes To War", by David Edmonds and John Eidinow. "End Game" by Frank Brady.
