I was in the middle of a chess game and carelessly lost my queen. Can anyone help me?

You can resign, or try to win without your queen, or go for a draw (don’t offer a draw though)

If so, we can only pat the OP's shoulder and tell that the world did not end

A possible plan:

  1. End such a game with all dignity and respect
  2. Take a break
  3. Do push-ups

If you care about elo than try to convert it!

But if its an unrated game or you don’t really care about elo then resigning would be a better option

For fun, you can also see me play against Stockfish having no queen and it’s surprisingly difficult even with queen odds!

WHen being down a queen you should probaly avoid trading matherial and play solid safe moves

During a game? Tell yourself that it’s okay. After the game: Try to figure out what caused your blunder? Were you distracted? Did you only look at one side of the board? Were you in time trouble? Did you moved too quickly?

Things not to do (Especially not in this exact order (Keyword: Kramnik)): Offer a draw, resign, tilt, abord, report, block, close account.

Stick a fork in your toaster; you’re done.

The best avenue, though perhaps not so ethical, is to divert your opponent’s attention and sneak the queen back on the board. This is called the Reversed Botez Gambit and is rarely used among GMs. Generally IM and lower rated use the RBG, though for some reason it falls into obscurity in the 500 to 600 range.

there's either 2 things I do,

A: Resign

B: say "okay, I'm queen-less, but I can always go for the endgame and promote."

If you lose your queen it's time to look for a new queen that appreciates you.
