EDIT: Messing around while making statements like, "But your opponent doggedly insists on playing on, as if to test you, even when you're far ahead in material. Sometimes I don't know if I should simply go for the quickest mate, drag the game out more myself, or flame the person" : -5
I never found it a good idea to flame/annoy others even if they don't have the decency of resigning in a lost position. Just play the best moves you possibly can so as to improve as much as possible.
