The latter-- thanks for clearing that up. A nice wooden chessboard ought to be good for lots of whacks.
What do you think about after you lose?

Whenever I lose I always think it was because of some dumb mistake I made, but whenever I win I always think it was because I played brilliantly. Funny how the mind plays tricks on you.

I usually think about and seppuku after losing. No seriously I keep on telling myself to not move without double or even triple-checking it out when I have plenty of time left to move which accounts for some of my losses, and that I need to analyze the rest of 'em to see how I can avoid making bad plans ie unsoundly sacking a pawn or a piece or falling behind in development or what have you. And I also think about cutting my gameload down which I'm slowly but surely doing in order to spend more time on each game.

The loss weighs heavy on my soul. I stumble through life in a fugue. All the decisions that I must make every day become imbued with the certainty of potential blunder. The consequence of mistakes take on an aura of DOOM!
Then I sigh...

I think about how fortunate I am not to have peaked to early and hit that 3000 ceiling early in my career ... You see it all to often sadly.

I never lose, so I don't know.

yeah, well you should have seen the porcupine. (isn't that a weird word???)

Yes, it must have been an odd sight-- it looks like you made sure not to leave it any quills . . .

I think
" OH HOLY CRAP.... I THINK I BLEW MY FOOT OFF"
oh wait thats when I am caroling.
I usualy think, Damnit, I spilt my coffee again.

I think
" OH HOLY CRAP.... I THINK I BLEW MY FOOT OFF"
That made me think of many "Darwin Award" stories. Oh, many good times.

Do you mean restricted to a certain number of swings per opponent, or a limited number of opponents you can brain?
