If you think he's 102, that says a lot about you.

First point is correct.
130+ is pure speculation grounded in the assumption that makes every thread on chess and IQ a wholottanonsense.
I'll keep beating the same drum, because I'm repetitive that way . I'm quite confident that the reason Hikaru is a top player is because he's lived a relatively priveleged life that's allowed him to stay centered around chess since childhood.
He dropped out of the education system at a young age to focus on chess, which he studied daily and nightly under the tutelage of his FIDE Master stepfather.
When the rest of us were watching cartoons or shows, Hikaru was playing chess. When the rest of us were playing with toys, Hikaru was playing chess. When the rest of us were going to school, socializing, and making friends ... Hikaru was playing chess.
This is a kind of chess-focused upbringing that few in the world have - which is why few players in the world have been able to reach his level.

He was homeschooled but he still needed to learn the school curriculum. Stop making excuses.

Hikaru was homeschooled so that he could focus on chess and compete extensively, without school getting in the way. I'm sure he fulfilled his minimum academic requirements, but obviously chess was the main focus in his life.
The same could be said of Caruana, who was also homeschooled for similar reasons. A childhood built around chess to the exclusion of most everything else - it's not much of a surprise that Caruana became a powerful player, as well.
I'm not sure what excuses you think I'm making, though. I'm merely offering a plausible explanation for Hikaru's chess skill that doesn't require an astronomically high IQ.

I don't agree.
He said it was 102, which is almost exactly average.
It is above the US average.
It was an online test and he was taking it while streaming. Neither the test itself nor the test condition lead to a credible result.
