How do I LITERALLY lose 73 rounds in with a pawn and a king as white although when I play black and am LITERALLY one move away from checkmate it automatically says a draw this game is a JOKE

supdaelyn

What does he get more moves because hes a good citizen? This game is a f joke

Fetoxo
The draw? It is stalemate. When you or your opponent can't move and they are not in check, it is stalemate.
Fetoxo
And the loss? You probably lost on time
Fetoxo
And another possible draw is: if you ran out of time but the opponent didn't have enough material to checkmate you.

Beautiful rook sacrifice , good for beginners and mid elo players

Bro its the exact same situation, except black had 20 extra moves on that game. When I was black and one move away from checkmating it said draw, this game is a joke. I had plenty of time on both games

Hjjejwwjs

yeah

Fetoxo
The draw? I said. It was stalemate. If you or your opponent doesn't have any legal moves, and you are not in check, it's a DRAW. With a rating of 300, i can understand that you can't understand.
Fetoxo
And the loss was because your opponent had the checkmate XD

The draw WASNT a stalemate I had a QUEEN AND A ROOK AND MORE they only had a KING AND PAWN wtf about that is a stalemate? How at all does that become a stalemate? I obviously have more than enough pieces to checkmate and they had NONE. He wouldve been checkmated in like 3 more moves max

It doesn’t matter how many pieces you have if your opponent has no legal moves it’s a stalemate. He cannot walk into a check. His pawn is completely blocked by your king and every square his king has available to move will walk him into check.
