Terrible movement in 1 minute games now WHAT HAPPENED ?
Are you talking about the missing animation effect (not seeing the pieces in dragging motion)? Because I'm having the same problem only on the iOS devices (both iPhone and iPad). The weird thing is that I didn't have this issue when playing against the computers. Only on Live 1-min blitz.

Same. I thought chess.com did it intentional to save player’s time but it costs me more time looking to understand what piece just moved and from where

I have the exact same issue. Really takes away from the flow of the game in my opinion. As a long time (paying) member, I’ll be very disappointed if this is intentional or long term.

You can change your animation settings in the live chess settings (usually next to the board I believe). I keep mine on fast, but none is an option for me as well.

Not a fan at all. It’s so fast I can’t see my own moves! Hahaha. Classic….take a good thing and screw it up! To the powers that be , “ please return us to normal”.
This new feature actually made me go to the forum for the first I guess - I also do have the opinion that it got faster as well? What do you guys think? I just drew a game that I believe yesterday I would have won easily, but today my opponent was on light speed the last 2-3 seconds..

Same problem for me. I can’t understand what is happening when I play, it’s like hyperspace travel.

Its really horrible. My eyes hurt. Fast game has no meaning. If this continue im quitting this app
I am used to play a lot of fast games on my phone.
I came to chess.com from lichess because they had this terrible fast way of moving pieces.
I would be glad to be able to change this parameter on mobile, because it is the only advantage I see to chess.com

I've lost every game since this error / change got in. It's like having motion blindness and it's giving me headaches. Absolutely hate it.

Glad it's not just me experiencing this (and not just me that's hating it). Hopefully the tech-nerds will realise it's unpopular and sort it out.
Some things are just fine as they are and don't need constantly interfering with.

Also bud, it’s a FORUM, whereby people talk about things and it’s not complaining…..it’s evolution baby……. And in this case the fluidity of the game has de-evolved and is terrible now - the stop motion -1994 MySpace like internet clunky feel is the reason people don’t use that anymore CHESS.COM fix the issue please for Blitz Games
