I do not know if this is true but I read that computers can only proces one thing at a time but does everything super fast, so I think the first resign to reach the server loses

That could be the case in bughouse. But someone else said the official rules of chess state that at the moment of resignation, the other side wins. So if it's a simultaneous resignation, both would win. As in 1-1. But I don't see how that's possible.
