I need a better explanation for this like say we have a board 1-4 A-D and there was a knight on 1-A and 2 pawns on 2-b and 2-C would the knight be able to move to 3-B still or no? And then if there was a knight on 1-A and a pawn on 2-A, 2-B, and 3-B then would this knight be able to move to 2-C?

it would only move if there is an opening. it cannot move to b3 but can move to c2
There actually is a Knight that can’t jump, but it’s only in Variant games. It moves 1 square orthogonally, then 1 diagonally. I don’t remember the name of the piece, though.
let us discuss if knights were not able to jump over pieces. would they fall or rise up higher
