In Seirawan Chess or S-Chess this piece is the Elephant. The Hawk is the piece with the power of the Bishop and Knight. Am I missing something here OP? Doesn't the Queen already have the same power as a Rook?

yeah but I am saying that the power of the Bishop (Diagonal) is exchanged by the power of Knight (L-Shaped)

Now that would suck, the Queen wouldn't be worth more than 6 points instead of her 9 points.
Also the queen would have to use a knight move just to change the color of her diagonal moves.
