What is a Decent Rating?

what is a decent blitz rating for someone who has been playing for a year on and off.
A decent rating is having a rating higher than your friends so you can brag that you're better than them. Like if I hang around with GMs my rating will be considered bad, if I hang around with 1500s my rating is great. It's all about bragging rights.
