So,I just played against a guy, and right before he left, he said that I use dirty openings. What does that mean? I would put the game in this post, but I don't know how to.Can someone explain to me both of these things?

hello?

Off the top of my head, I can't remember how to post a game.

I would guess that he means an unsound gambit? Or maybe some super passive and "boring" opening? Honestly, I think only he would know.

He's talking pure nonsense. Don't worry about it.

by the way, did I play well?

Avatar of theoof11

Even the worst bot know how to defend against that.I wasn't going for that.

but did I play well

I think they're probably just salty. You played good for your rating, though 2...e3 blocking in your bishop wasn't super great.

King's Gambit & Englund Gambit are good examples of dirty openings, if there is such a thing

Avatar of theoof11

somebodywhoateapie, I think that I am so low ranked because when I came on, I haden't played for 1 to 2 years. So I was trash, but now I am better.
