They aren't beyond comparing though. If you look at enough people who have multiple ratings you can approximate a conversion such as chess.com blitz +200 = chess.com rapid (or whatever).
The +200 is valid at 1100 blitz since that = 1300 Rapid. But 1850+ Rapid really isn't easy and things even out there.
