There are no authoritative sources for any of the guesses you’ll see in this forum. What little research there has been on the subject seems to indicate that there is a very small positive correlation between IQ and chess strength

Probably around 100, which is average. Chess isn't a good IQ quantity tool.

I mean for example Albert Einstein had a iq between 150 to 170.... And he wasn't a great chess player...

Hikarus is not 102, that was just from an online test which is not accurate. Magnus’s is estimated to be 180 after you plug his rating into the equation (IQ x 10) + 1000. This is for the maximum rating a player can achieve.

There is on both ends of the scale high IQ + hard work = good chess player

low IQ + hard work = decent chess player
