What is really the point in blitz and bullet chess 🤔

So recently it was the Vietnamese in the July month! The national kids tournament and I competed in it with a result of 5/9 in rapid, 4.5/9 in blitz and 6/9 in Classical chess. In one of my losses in the Blitz tournament, it was a game that was a bishop and a queen (for me) and alot more pawns than my opponent with a queen and a rook. The position could have been a draw or maybe I could play for a win. But for some reason when I was down on time I blundered and got checkmated later on. Is Blitz chess even worth it? Blitz chess is similar to luck based. So many people have won lost positions on time! So what is the point playing blitz? Is does not improve ur chess skills at all! Yes Blitz need some of ur skills to win but in very unfair and undeserved win like winning a lost positions just because time. Is really just worthless to play blitz,it just encourage u to rage harder and try harder. Ur average accuracy is definitely lower than ur Rapid's average accuracy (except for people who don't even play rapid). The same situation is at bullet. Instead of even improving ur skills in bullet. It even encourage u to win without any knowledge coming from that bullet game. Wait, bullet is almost can't get 100% accuracy. Is so fast that chess.com clock goes faster than regular Rapid and Blitz clocks. When u head into the Rapid tournament u probably will play fast and blunder.

If u agree on this comment down below and say agree.

Blitz and bullet is for fun and competition of who is faster and more blunder free. It's okay if you can't play it that well. Time is a big factor in blitz and you have to accept it.

Blitz can help with intuition and be fun

Bullet doesn’t really help, but can also be fun

dfgh123

It's for titled players only

It's to mostly for fun. However it has helped me in converting winning positions with low time in longer games so that's a benefit.
