It meant that after your sacrifice 5. Nxf7 drawing out the king that your queen fork of the king and bishop would leave you with a good advantage despite the inevitability that you would lose the rook afterwards .
This seems pretty clear after 8.. Nxa1. The black king is exposed and black has no development other than his knight, which will be lost.
