How are you 1836 USCF if your blitz here is 1400? What is the USCF compared to online anyway? I thought it was like FIDE where you would be 200 points lower.

On modern times like now you are getting First rate master F.Ms at 10 or 12 we have one at our chess club who is 11 and half who is an F.M and which is how its happening now G.Ms at 16 or 18 so for those who fancy a career as a chess master unless your hitting a FIDE ELO/ not a elo on online chess sites but Fide Elo of 2350 by the age of 12 your never going to make it. Decision time comes and there are easier ways to make a living become an accountant or lawyer !!?

Not true. I don't play much, even when I do I don't pay attention. I am bad at online chess.

Me too. My otb play is stronger. I imagine becoming a 2800 GM, and my online rating is like 1100 lol
What is the average age to become master? I am 1836 USFC and I am 10. People reach 2200 at different ages. Some at 20, some at 10, some at 12, some at 15. But what is the average age?
