What is the best engine to analyze with?

under no circumstances should you really be analyzing anything at depth 30, that’s more than half the average chess game

I feel like it takes too long to go through every move and analyze it. Assume a 60 move game, and you spend 2 min analyzing in your head for every move. First 10 moves are opening theory. Then, you would be spending almost 2 hours analyzing. I would rather first analyze with computer and then go over the inaccuracies/mistakes/blunders. Besides, read question in the OP.

Right. I do that. But there is literally no point in making the engine think longer for a good move to become inaccurate if you don’t know why.

Wait does depth 26 mean 26 moves in each line or 26 different lines?

I don’t know and I don’t care. I’ve always run the engine at around depth 15-18, and when I was a free member I just used the depth 10 analysis.

I think depth 15 - 18 is really low cuz it sometimes doesn't spot certain moves which are obviously not mistakes.

yeah it doesn't spot certain moves but that's an error that will happen to any engine at any depth.
