I think Ice Sea with purple goes the best because purple is not a move strength coloring and ice sea is just like a better version of the classic.

Good question. In my humble and yet utterly infallible opinion it has to be Alpha. But then Glass looks pretty good too. Then there's Light. But what about Ocean, I hear someone at the back shouting. Ooohh, the agony of choice!

I love the Bases pieces with the Walnut board combination as it gives me a natural feeling, 3D wood also works

I prefer normal pieces that are easy to recognize.

I personally use the Neo-Wood pieces with my Icy Seas board. It looks standard and like the original, but the wood adds a very nice texture in my opinion.
