Chomp on hanging pieces

just looked over it, I didn't see a move where I missed a hanging piece, can you tell the move(s) so I can find it? Thx in advance

He just says that to everything. I’ve heard puzzles already suggested, but practice and learning tactics and counterplay helps. This can also both be learned by puzzles

I see you’ve gained about 250 in the last 30 days and about 61 of that was in the last week. That shows a sign you’re improving and it will just take time, and if you like I could play a daily game with you and coach you along the way.

ChessTempo for puzzles! Always read the comments after each puzzle, especially if you got it wrong or didn't understand the solution, as other users often leave insightful comments.

Yes. Review games you lost and puzzles you didn’t get right.

Wow, I would like to know, why is chess forbidden in your household? Maybe you can convince your parents to change their opinion if you choose the right words in the right moment (but do NOT say anything about that you have played without their knowledge).

It is forbidden because my great great grandfather died while playing chess. He had some sort of heart disease he took medicine for but was distracted by chess. My parents think chess is a distraction in life.

The same thing happened to my great great grandfather! His name was Maul Porphy. Maybe you've heard of him? He was playing against a guy named Fobby Bischer in the Grand Mal Seizure Cup.

I can't tell if it is a joke or not. if it is a joke: hilarious! if not: I'm sorry.

Stop chasing openings. Start mastering chess principles. I’ve seen players improve faster this way. Reach out anytime if you want guidance on what actually matters in chess.

It feels like permission would free your mind to play better. I don't really understand why you're being restricted because of an ancestor's mistake. You'd probably play like 10% better just from not having to sneak chess in.

They always say play play play. The real way to improve is to have a routine. Quality over quantity. Even just 1 or 2 games every day will help improve. You will win way more than playing 20 games for instance and most likely be playing higher quality chess than most who play 20 games a day

You can analyze your game for free with just the engine. I find it just as helpful as game review. And I also agree with playing quality over quantity for sure, as that’s something I had to learn myself.

First: Stop playing bullet.

Second: You literally found all the right ideas at the wrong time. Stop spending thirty seconds playing simple moves. Use your time wisely.

Btw I'm a 1300 with no subscription. Learn principles and middlegame tactics. 600s and up already have a pretty good grasp on the game, so don't be surprised when they play well. Learning offbeat openings can definitely give you an advantage, so maybe give that a try.

I agree, Longform chess is the chess that will make you learn

I agree with the bullet, I don't play much. Maybe one game a day for fun to wind down. I play mostly 10 min or 15|10 min rapid.

I was purely pulling that from your game history on the day I sent that.

completly understand that, sometimes you just don't have all the context. but I do believe that playing bullet for fun at the end of the day wouldn't hurt my playing ability... right?

Yes… to improve just don’t blunder and punish when your opponents peices.
