Anyone know?
Lagomorph

If you think it is funny to poison people with a nerve agent which kills or leaves the victim in a paralysed state for life then you are a sick individual.

No the chess one

The opening
NihilDesperandum

It's provocation to illegitimate Russia as country which apply chemical weapon. Like a previous ones with Syria and Asad.

What practical aim? Maybe exclude Russia from United Nations Security Council.

to date ive never heard of it in chess atom , but recently it (novichok) has taken on more significance and you need only see the news for its present usage and then with research make your own mind up

not sure if you're trolling right now, but that's someone's joke. novichok would be the English spelling for a Russian word meaning "new person (as to a game)" or "novice" (lol it actually gives you the word novice if you right-click on the word when it has the red line under it)

But in all seriousness, to get back on topic... isn't the Novichok Attack another name for the poisoned pawn variation of the English opening?

Bad_Dobby_Fischer

not sure...
