Quite long. The trick is to have no idea about your own strength and participate in the official chess.com tourney immediately after joining the site - you will be put into the 1001-1200 section. Add some first rounds of open tournaments and you get quite some streak.

I was at 20!
I am a "convert" from another online site.
This was the progress of my theories for this "accomplishment."
1) I am a badass.
2) The chess.com rating system must be radically different from my old site.
3) People were letting me win because I was "new."
Finally, I accepted the truth.
4) I was lucky as hell and instead of using that luck buying lottery tickets I squandered it playing 20 games on chess.com!
What is this "undefeated streak" of which you write? It is unknown to me...
